The City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services, Philadelphia Works, and District 1199C Training & Upgrading Fund will be holding two information sessions in February 2017 on Behavioral Health apprenticeships for Southeast PA employers. These sessions will provide information on how apprenticeship programs can be customized to meet your workforce needs and integrated into your current training strategy to increase worker retention, provide a viable career pathway with college credits, and develop highly-skilled, devoted employees.

Attendees will also learn about the technical and funding supports available to employers in developing and operating an apprenticeship program, including training and curriculum customization, mentorship training and ongoing support, registration paperwork and filing management, pre-apprenticeship candidate preparation, and apprentice support throughout the program.
